Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in Costa Rica's insurance sector. I've been a licensed agent accredited by la Superintendencia General de Seguros (SUGESE) since 1997.

​

Over the years, I've built a strong practice through a close working relationship with Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS). My focus is on providing comprehensive advisory services for personal, corporate, and property insurance, with an emphasis on proactive risk management and strategic protection for family and business assets.

​

I have been an active member of the Asociación Nacional de Agentes de Seguros (ANDAS) for many years and currently serve as Secretary of its Board of Directors. In this role, I've helped lead initiatives to strengthen the insurance market, pushing for regulatory modernization, promoting continuous professional development, and advancing the overall professionalization of our field.

My commitment to excellent client service has also led to strong, long-term ties with key players in the cooperative and financial sectors. A notable example is my long-standing collaboration with Coopaseguros R.L., where I've taken on representation and institutional development roles. I've served on its Board of Directors for several years and currently serve on the Administrative Council as Vocal III.

 

My professional focus remains on delivering tailored, sustainable insurance solutions, from life, health, and auto coverage to business and property insurance. This work is always grounded in personalized attention, transparency, and a prevention-first mindset.

What I find most fulfilling, however, is the human side of my work: the trust my clients place in me, the opportunity to guide them through life's pivotal moments, and the peace of mind that comes with thoughtful insurance planning.

​

Outside of my professional life, I am an avid reader, with a particular interest in personal growth, leadership, and human development. These themes continually shape my perspective and enrich my interactions with others.

​

I also share a profound bond with animals. For years, I have been actively involved in rescuing and caring for various species, offering them shelter and a second chance at life. Several now share my home, and their presence is a constant source of joy, serenity, and daily lessons in compassion.
